The Boy Behind The Lens
At just thirteen Robbie, an Irish-Spanish filmmaker born and raised in Portugal, started using a camera to tell his first stories. They often involved cardboard boxes, green fabric, toy guns... and cloning himself. Since then he's worked across cinematic commercials, narrative film, documentary and brand campaigns for clients including Nas Daily, BoohooMAN, Google, John Lewis & Partners, BBC and myManu.
When he's not pouring all his love onto a set, you'll find him on a plane. Probably still editing because along the way, the work has taken him across 35 countries. He toured the world with Lost LeBlanc on his YouTube channel and helped shape his Lost Creator Academy as a storytelling coach, then went on to lead community and content at Niklas Christl's Story Hero Academy.
He holds a BA (Hons) in Film, Theatre & Television from the University of Reading, with further training through Iconic Steps and the BFI. His work has screened at festivals including the Berlin Fashion Film Festival and the Korea Queer Film Festival with wins at The Drum Do-It-Day Campaign and the British Horror Film Festival.
Now based in Spain. Available worldwide. Good films, good food, good wine.
